In The Day of the Jackal (1973), the Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, despite being an earlier generation model. For the most part, it’s well done, the Jackal’s acting is very good here. There are a few occasional scenes where it seems unlikely that the Jackal wouldn’t be easily identified by a security camera, such as in Episode 1 after being shot by a sniper as he exits the hotel.
A blank stare
Perhaps that’s because it’s based on an old book (or TV show?) where that wasn’t an issue. The second issue, probably a bigger one, is that the actress playing the detective really can’t express herself and only has one facial expression. At work?
A blank stare
Got shot? Talking to her daughter? A black stare.
